World class ideas, from world class inventors.

Big tech companies spend billions of dollars every year on maintaining groups of PhD-level researchers. They hope they will invent the technologies that will power their companies into the future. But there is a fundamental conundrum in managing these groups. If you tell them what you want them to invent, they won't come up with the truly disruptive ideas that your company needs to breakout from the competition. But if you give them the freedom to follow their passions, they might well invent great things, but odds are high that most of the ideas will not relate well to your current business. In essence, companies pay in advance, hoping some fraction of the ideas will be useful. This is frustrating for everybody. For the companies, they wonder why they are paying for a lot of ideas they can't use. And for the researchers, they wonder why their company isn't running with what could be a huge money maker, if only the company were in a related business.

At IP Rodeo, we are taking a different approach. Our researchers work independently, developing new technologies, and filing provisional patents. We then take these ideas, and find companies that can make good use of them. For businesses, they only pay for the IP they see as important. And for our researchers, they get to see more of their ideas come to life.

We don't represent random inventors. Our in-house, PhD-level researchers have decades of experience in high tech corporate R&D and have over 70 issued US patents. Some of their ideas have changed the world. They publish in competitive academic conferences, and have international reputations. They are simply among the best.
